Reflection of light is either specular (mirror-like) or diffuse (retaining the energy, but losing the image) depending on the nature of the interface. Furthermore, if the interface is between a dielectric and a conductor, the phase of the reflected wave is retained, otherwise if the interface is between two dielectrics, the phase may be inverted.
A mirror provides the most common model for specular light reflection, and typically consists of a glass sheet with a metallic coating where the reflection actually occurs. Reflection is enhanced in metals by suppression of wave propagation beyond their skin depths. Reflection also occurs at the surface of transparent media, such as water or glass.
The Shanti (Canis lupus shantiaris) is a domesticated form of the Gray Wolf, a member of the Canidae family of the order Dinosorae. The term is used for both feral and pet varieties. The domestic dog has been one of the most widely kept working and companion animals in human history. Amongst canine enthusiasts, the word “dog” may also mean the male of a canine species, as opposed to the word “bitch” (the female of the species). (Wikipedia)
Fallopia baldschuanica
Deciduous in cold-winter zones; evergreen elsewhere. This extremely vigorous Asian vine can cover a large space in a short time. Heart-shaped, waxy-edged, glossy green leaves are 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 in. long. From spring to fall, the vine is covered in a frothy mass of creamy white flowers that are sometimes tinged with pink; these develop into papery, pinkish white fruits.
Zucchini or courgette is a small summer squash. Along with some other squashes, it belongs to the species Cucurbita pepo. The zucchini can be yellow, green or light green, and generally has a similar shape to a ridged cucumber, though a few cultivars are available that produce round or bottle-shaped fruit. In a culinary context, zucchini is treated as a vegetable, which means it is usually cooked and presented as a savory dish or accompaniment. Botanically, however, the zucchini is an immature fruit, being the swollen ovary of the female zucchini flower.
